On Feb 6, we are opening our doors to the public. We are inviting the community to taste and tour Civitan. We want everyone to see how we are empowering individuals with special needs to live meaningful lives by installing confidence and self-worth. Our Media, Culinary and arts departments will leave you awestruck. Our community-focused facility will be open from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. To RSVP, call the front desk at (602) 953-2944.

In his own words:
Civitan offers people with disabilities the opportunity to work and get pay doing things that are fun. They get paid to work in the kitchen, the media center, the receptions desk and the teen center when it is opened.
This is unique, because a lot of people with disabilities don’t have this opportunity. Our programs are a great way to learn and build up your skills.
I come Thursdays and Fridays. I do Yoga, media and other activities. The staff are dedicated and Civitan members get along with them and each other.
